Hansen Marine recognized for its growth in France and Europe
The Île-de-France–based company Hansen Marine, specialized in the design and manufacturing of floating structures and metal works, is featured this year in two leading European rankings, in collaboration with Statista, dedicated to high-growth companies:
- Growth Champions 2026 – published by Les Échos
- FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026 ranking – published by the Financial Times
This double distinction recognizes a decade of particularly strong growth for the company founded in the early 2000s.
Growth driven by the diversification of its structures
Initially specialized in the manufacturing and installation of leisure pontoons and boat access gangways, Hansen Marine has gradually expanded its scope of activity to become a recognized player in the construction of floating structures and riverbank developments.
Today, the company designs a wide range of structures:
- Floating pontoons in steel, aluminum, and concrete
- Crossing footbridges, for pedestrians or vehicles
- Floating urban bathing sites
- Floating buildings and port facilities
- Custom-designed structures tailored to specific needs.
This diversification is supported by the continuous strengthening of in-house expertise, with the development of teams in project management, engineering and design offices, research and development, production, and construction management.
This organization has enabled Hansen Marine to deliver major projects, notably during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where the company built the floating structures for the triathlon and paratriathlon events on the Seine, as well as for the rowing and canoe-kayak competitions at the Vaires-sur-Marne Olympic Nautical Stadium.
Sustained growth
This momentum is reflected in the company’s development indicators:
Growth over 10 years (2016 → 2026)
→ +240 % workforce growth in 10 years
→ +846% revenue growth in 10 years
To support this expansion, Hansen Marine moved in 2023 to a new production facility in Croissy-Beaubourg, located within the eco-designed development zone created by EpaMarne.
This industrial site has enabled the company to increase its production capacity and support the continued growth of its activities.
A strengthened position in urban riverbank developments
In recent years, Hansen Marine has also distinguished itself in the development of new uses for rivers and urban riverbanks.
The company has notably contributed to the construction of several urban river bathing sites in the Paris region, including two in Paris, illustrating the growing interest of local authorities in reclaiming river spaces and developing urban waterfronts.
Export, a new driver of growth
Building on this expertise, Hansen Marine is now entering a new phase of international development.
Several innovative projects are currently being developed by the research and development team, with the aim of offering new solutions for urban riverbank development and river space planning.
At the same time, the company is working to deploy its expertise internationally, where the challenges of urban river rehabilitation, port development, and floating infrastructure are generating growing interest.
This strategic direction opens new growth opportunities for Hansen Marine, now positioned in a rapidly expanding international market.
Thank you!
